Yscir Community Council
The community of Yscir comprises the hamlets of Aberyscir, Battle, Cradoc and Fennifach in their entirety. It also includes parts of the hamlets of Aberbran and Pontfaen. There are around 370 residents on the electoral roll.
The Yscir Community Council represents the community of Yscir. Yscir together with the communities of Trallong and Merthyr Cynog comprises the County Council ward also called Yscir. The County Councillor representing the Yscir ward is Iain McIntosh.
The Council has seven members, who are serving a term of 5 years until May 2027.
